5 Things to Do in Helsingborg This Weekend (26–27 September)
Cold baths, saunas, Rådhus tour, and two markets — here's what's on this Saturday and Sunday.

The deadlines are only days apart, so it's a good moment to dust off that notebook.
1. Cold Bath Weekend
Saturday 26 – Sunday 27 September
The cold bath season kicks off with a full weekend of cold baths, sauna and aufguss at Kallbadet and Pålsjöbaden. Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned cold bather, there's something for you:
Try a cold bath for the first time, with guidance for the curious but unsure
Aufguss with Albin Mårtensson, themed "from calm to euphoria"
Arena rock aufguss, when Kallbadet's aufgussmästare turns up the volume
Wood-fired sauna and ice bath at Mäster Palms plats
On Sunday, aufguss at Pålsjöbaden is included in regular admission — no booking needed.

2. Try the Sauna at Mäster Palms plats
Saturday 26 September
As part of Kallbadsveckan, a sauna tent lands right in the middle of town. Two wood-burning stoves keep it hot, sauna hosts are on hand to guide first-timers, and a temporary "ice station" waits outside for cooling down.
Four bookable sessions: 10:00–10:45, 11:00–11:45, 12:00–12:45, 13:00–13:45
SEK 50 per session, limited to 15 spots per slot
Bring swimwear and a towel; changing tents are on site
3. Höstmarknaden
Saturday 26 September, 11:00–17:00
Flatcap – Oxhallen, Bredgatan 25
A warm, small-scale market for anyone who loves handmade goods and personally expressive work. Expect unique ceramics, art, jewellery, incense, crystals, and local delicacies to try and take home. 4. Öppet rådhus (Open City Hall)
Saturday 26 September, 11:00–14:00 — free entry
Helsingborg's 1897 rådhus opens its doors to the public, with free guided tours running every 30 minutes (last tour 13:30, no registration needed). Even outside the guided tours, you can wander the building on your own, though not every room will be accessible. The rådhus today houses the municipal council, city leadership and around 70 staff, and its vigselrum (wedding room) is where civil marriages take place. 5. Mikaeli marknad
Sunday 27 September, 10:00–17:00
Fredriksdal museer och trädgårdar
Fredriksdal's biggest autumn event turns the historic grounds into a market full of farmers, food artisans, music and dance. Expect the season's best fruit, vegetables and bread, alongside Skåne specialities, craft demonstrations and talks on animals, local history and building conservation. Kids get their own programme too, with straw jumping, classic market games, sheep shearing and horse-and-carriage rides.
Entrance: SEK 175 (SEK 155 if bought in advance before 20 September, now passed, so full price applies at the gate)
