HIF and Helsingborg Libraries Team Up for Youth

Helsingborgs IF is partnering with Helsingborg libraries to give more young people the chance to experience the city’s cultural life — including free tickets to HIF home matches at Olympia.

Through this initiative, children and youth under 20 can borrow up to two match tickets per person, completely free of charge. Just like borrowing a book, all that is needed is a valid library card with Familjen Helsingborg.

Where tickets are available

  • Helsingborg City Library (Stadsbiblioteket)

  • Drottninghög Library

  • Höganäs Library

  • Libraries in Bjuv

How it works

Tickets are released for borrowing once they become available for a specific match. Unlike books, tickets do not need to be returned after the game. The number of tickets is limited and they are distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Good to know

  • You cannot borrow a match ticket before tickets have been released for the specific match.

  • Borrower should be under 20 years of age.

  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by a guardian.

  • Tickets can only be borrowed in person at the libraries (not online or by phone).

  • A valid Familjen Helsingborg library card is required.

  • There is no requirement to borrow a book, but feel free to do so.

  • Tickets cannot be exchanged or returned once borrowed.

This collaboration is about more than football — it’s about opening up access to the cultural experiences Helsingborg has to offer. From books to the pitch, it’s a chance for young people to be part of the city’s energy and community.
