Halloween is just around the corner! While this year is, of course, going to be quite low-key, there’s still enough happening in the city to keep people all ages entertained. Haven’t made plans yet? Pumpkin hunt on Bruksgatan
A fun autumn and Halloween activity for the family. Helsingborg City will place a bunch of pumpkins in the shop windows along the street. On each pumpkin is a letter and together the letters form a word. Figure out the word and email your answer to firstname.lastname@example.org . Three lucky people win city gift cards worth SEK 500.

Autumn lights at Sofiero (Open to all)
Not creepy and not a Halloween event, but definitely a beautiful one taking place during the Halloween! Every evening for 3 weeks, find an illuminated park where you can take a walk surrounded by gorgeous lights. Every week a new light installation will be in place.

Pumpkin carving (Pimp up your pumpkin - Open to all)
Ready to test your pumpkin carving skills? Join this fun competition at Tryckeriet on October 26. Pumpkins and tools will be available. Open for all ages, children under 12 to be in an adult company. Activity will be outdoors. Secure by place by emailing ‘Pumpa’ and send your name, phone number and first 6 digits of your personnummer to email@example.com (no later than 23 October)

Story reading sessions at the Helsingborg Library (Detective theme - for children) - CANCELLED

Halloween at Toy World
During Week 44, visit Toy World and check out the Halloween exhibition and the themed ghost room. Open every day from 12-16.

Lights and creepy tales at Kärnan (7 years and above, children and adults) - CANCELLED
Experience Kärnan in the glow of flickering light. Explore the dark corners and listen to eerie stories and finally, see Helsingorg by night from on top of the tower. The event will be in Swedish. For 7 years and above (for both children and adults)

Väsenvandring, Fredriksdal (6 years and above) - CANCELLED
A recurring event at Fredriksdal during this period is the Väsenvandring in which children and adults can listen to exciting stories about trolls and fairies and mysterious beings. The event takes place twice on 27th and 28th and tickets need to be purchased beforehand (which usually run out very quickly). Please note the event will be in Swedish.
Entrance - 6 years and above. Tickets can be bought via hbgkulturbutik.se, at Kulturmagasinet's reception at Fredriksdal and at Dunkers Kulturhus.

Cosplay and Theatre Make-up workshop (Halloween Edition, 15-25 years)
