Test your idea for the city of Helsingborg and apply to Visionsfonden.
To start with, this website would not have been possible without the support of Visionsfonden and Helsingborgs Stad. My primary area of work has been in disability rights and inclusion. But I’ve always been fascinated with design, art and the creative space in general. Thanks to the internet, I am always self-learning and that is how I got into design and of course, social media. One great learning since I came to Sweden has been that it is never too late to do something you enjoy. But sometimes you need a push, some sort of motivation and that’s where Visionsfonden comes in.
‘This is HBG’ was a simple idea in my head which came out of my own experiences of navigating through my new life in this new country. Thanks to Faisal Albinali and Charbel Tawk, the founders of Peers Bridge (my other project - read all about their story here), I was introduced to Visionsfonden and that is when I knew I wouldn’t do this project in isolation but instead with the support of Helsingborg Stad.
