Do you run an association or a foundation and have an innovative idea which can benefit Helsingborg’s association life and residents? There’s a new funding program in the city - and it’s just for you!
Föreningsfonden (The association fund) by H22 aims to enable initiatives that will contribute to the development of association life in the city and to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). If you have an innovative idea and can collaborate with others to implement your idea, you can get funding to not only implement it but also be a part of the H22 City expo.
SEK 1 million has been set aside from the H22 budget and will be distributed to organizations that have innovative ideas based on one or more of the global goals. Projects which receive the support will be showcased in some way or the other during the H22 City Expo, which is due to take place next year in the summer.

Who can apply?
Associations and foundations must be registered and have an organisation number and meet demokrativillkoren (democratic conditions) The project manager must be over 18 years old.
What is the criteria to apply?
The project should contribute to developing association life and the quality of life in Helsingborg and be linked to one or more of the global goals in a new or innovative way.
The project should be done in collaboration with other associations/ foundations.
The project must have a clear project period with reporting no later than 30 September 2022.
The project must have a clear budget broken down into specific cost items.
How much can I apply for?
There is no maximum limit for the application. Just remember - The fund has a total SEK 1,000,000 in the budget.
What are the deadlines to apply for the fund?
There are no deadlines for the association fund. The applications will be processed on an ongoing basis. But remember - the project must be carried out and reported in connection with H22 City Expo (May 30 - July 3, 2022) and finalized no later than 30 September 2022.
Some other tips:
You cannot apply for a salary as part of this fund.
From the time you apply, it can take about a month to get a decision.
You cannot apply for projects which will not be implemented in Helsingborg, can be carried out without extra support or already receive financial support from the city.
You must collaborate with another association, organization or company as part of your project.
