Have you already sent in your Christmas post? If not, you still have a few days to go to make sure your greetings reach on time. Postnord predicted online Christmas trade to have a sales of SEK 10.6 billion (an increase of 26 per cent from last year). Online deliveries are high, so you should be prepared for longer delivery times.
Here are a few tips by Postnord for last dates and labelling of your packages.
IMPORTANT DATES:
The final date to send Christmas cards within Sweden (with a Christmas stamp) to arrive before Christmas is December 16th. But if you use regular domestic stamps, or send via the digital service Riktiga Vykort, the last day is December 21st.
Remember to send out packages in good time. The last date for domestic packages to be sent is December 21st.
Foreign letters and shipments within the EU should be sent no later than December 11th to arrive before Christmas.
Foreign letters and shipments outside the EU should be sent no later than December 7th to arrive before Christmas.
